A New York based designer, jewelry maker, plant mom, the list goes on. Cassie is continuously expanding her creative reach. A graduate of The Fashion Institute of Technology in 2005 with a BFA in Packaging/Graphic Design.

She has worked with L’Oreal on a number of brands since 2011. Beginning her career as an integral part of the Matrix Global packaging design department—working on packaging, branding, display and other promotional development. Cassie is currently an Art Director at Maybelline, creating display, lip & face packaging, and web and digital development. She thrives in a fast paced, collaborative work environment and is continually refining her skills and knowledge of design.

In her free time, she can be found searching for new restoration projects along the roadside, tending to her plant gang, or designing jewelry all the while greeting every pup in her path!

In 2021 Cassie opened a plant pop-up shop The Rising Tropic, where she shared her love of plants with everyone she met at her events. It truly brought joy to her life during the pandemic, The Rising Tropic helped her to connect and bring that same joy to others.
